What a great place and how wonderful that it pays homage to first responders. Food was great and super close to the South Bend Airport, so great place to eat if you want to avoid airport food. Today's special was the giant burrito for $8.99, now for me this was enough food for two meals, but maybe not for others and tons of beer options. Lunch crowd was light so service was super quick. The mini hotdogs were wonderfully crispy and the batter was slightly on the sweet side which was nice. But best of all were the garlic parm fries I liked them. But a coworker felt they were ok, it maybe that I got the ones on top that were more seasoned. Overall, wait staff were friendly and I liked it, so I will definately be returning.
The food is great and the people are amazing. You always feel welcome. The Prime Rib is wonderful and a great value! The fried fish makes your mouth water just looking at it. It tastes even better. Service doesn't get any better. It's a great place to take your friends and have a nice relaxing evening!
Has a VFW feel (I think it's a firefighter's union hall) but the food and service is EXCELLENT!!
